Out of 35 anglers who registered for the Macmillan Cancer competition only 7 turned out. Weather wise the wind began to pick up mid-morning but this did not affect the determination of the anglers with all but 2 catching fish. Some anglers were struggling to keep the fish on the hook.
With none of the tagged fish caught the big prize money was safe. Tildarg is offering a range of prizes in relation to its own tagged fish if an angler catches one of the 4 coloured Macmillan tags in a fish.
A total of £1200 was raised, bringing the total raised by Tildarg anglers to £12,096.73 over the past few years. An excellent result you must agree.
